Multi-tier visibility: seeing past tier one

Hidden dependencies and sub-tier concentration remain the top source of surprise. Here is how graph intelligence changes the picture.

Tier-one supplier lists rarely explain why a single sub-tier site can idle multiple product lines. Graph representation makes upstream and downstream relationships explicit, including alternate paths, single points of failure, and parts that only appear deep in the bill of materials.

When structure is navigable, scenario simulation becomes practical: closures, delays, and material substitutions can be tested against real lead times and inventory positions instead of assumptions on a slide.

Visibility is not an end state. It is the foundation for propagation models, collaborative workspaces, and decisions that stay aligned as the network evolves.
